Commercial Construction Sales

Palmer Group has partnered with a client in the construction industry who is looking to add a detail-oriented and results-driven Commercial Construction Sales to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing construction and project management, with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities:
- Planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of roofing projects, from initial estimation to final inspection
- Conducting site visits and assessments to evaluate project scope, requirements, and feasibility
- Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the estimating team
- Procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractors necessary for project execution
- Leading and managing project teams, including field crews, subcontractors, and vendors, to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Monitoring project progress, performance, and budget adherence and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Communicating regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle
- Conducting post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience or knowledge in roofing, estimating, or construction is preferred
- Experience in roofing construction and project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing roofing projects of varying sizes and complexity
- Ability to climb a ladder, walk on a roof, and adhere to safety standards in warm, humid, and cold temperatures
- Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, repair, estimation, materials, and installation techniques
- Ability to safely hook up and pull a trailer
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Experience with JobNimbus, Eagleview, GAF Quickmeausre, Hover, and Xactimate is a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
