Are you an energetic individual who loves connecting with people? Shugarman’s Bath is searching for an enthusiastic Event Promoter/Canvasser to engage with homeowners and set appointments for our Design Consultant to give FREE In-Home Consultations to replace their bathtubs and showers.


This is a great opportunity for someone that loves interacting with people and is looking for more experience in the sales field. If you have good customer service skills and you are confident in your sales ability, you have an opportunity to earn a lot of money

Essential Duties:

  • Book appointments for our Design Consultant to provide FREE In-Home Consultations.

  • Interact and engage with attendees and customers at our company booths throughout events and shows in San Diego and Orange County.

  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing to educate residents about our organization and services.

  • Build positive relationships with community members.

  • Meet daily and weekly targets for engagement and data collection.

  • Answer any questions about our bath remodel process— don’t worry, we’ll teach you everything

  • Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.


Schedule:

  • Varies


Compensation

  • $20 per hour

  • Bonus Opportunities: Earn $100 for every appointment you book. You could earn $500 - $1000 or more per week, on top of your hourly, for appointments booked. YOU CAN MAKE A LOT OF MONEY

  • Mileage Reimbursement

  • Paid Training

  • Access to company insurance plans; purchase health, dental and vision in with pre-tax dollars and at a lower rate.

  • Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) after 90 days


Requirements:

  • Must be available to occasionally work on weekends

  • Previous work experience as a canvasser

  • Must be ok working outdoors and indoors, such as fairgrounds, home expos and various locations

  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license

  • Must be able to canvas around San Diego County

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude and outgoing personality

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Punctual, reliable, with a desire to learn and grow with a growing business


Physical requirements

  • Must be okay with being on your feet during prolonged periods

  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods hours
