Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist

Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Handle Accounts Receivable operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliations, and billing/invoicing.

  • Manage Collections involving debt collection, liens, and communication with accounts payable.

  • Uphold professional customer service standards while interacting with customers, vendors, and employees.

  • Assist with billing and project-related billing.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in business accounting and software integration, particularly Quickbooks.

  • Ability to perform tasks involving sitting, standing, and lifting to 10 lbs multiple times throughout the day.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Strong customer service, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Availability to work five days a week, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related financial roles.

  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of QuickBooks.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Computer Proficiency:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems quickly.

Customer Service:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide professional and courteous customer service.

  • Ability to resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and effective manner.

Teamwork:

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Willingness to assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
