Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client is a leading marketing and public relations firm that works directly with clients in the private and public sectors to develop and manage their communication programs.  Our client is looking for community-minded and eager Community Relations Coordinators (Door-to-Door Business Canvassers) to implement and educate local businesses on community engagement programs.  The ideal candidate will be willing to bring fresh ideas, implement those ideas, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and grow along the way.  The hours are 10:00am – 3:00pm, Monday – Friday.     

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Deliver marketing material to local businesses
  • Suggest, schedule, and implement new community-based programs and other strategic engagement initiatives
  • Regularly attend team meetings to coordinate project deliverables, evaluations, and results
  • Work with various methodologies for communication delivery and implement a feed-back loop with surveys and meetings for continuous improvement
  • Effective Storyteller: designing creative communications to help move people to action
  • Assist the Community Relations Manager with identifying and attracting top community stakeholders as it relates to the overall company mission and values

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience in community organizing, sales, or related field
  • Proven success managing multiple tasks/projects at once, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with stakeholder management including elected officials and community organizations (ability to work well with diverse groups a plus)
  • Fluency in Spanish, Chinese, or Vietnamese is required
  • Bachelor’s degree required (public relations, marketing, or advertising degree a plus)
  • Must have reliable transportation

$25/hr + gas & mileage reimbursement
