At Roost Austin, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences to our guests and homeowners. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the beauty, functionality, and safety of our properties, and we're looking for a proactive and experienced individual to contribute to our success.

**Position Overview:**
As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with and report to our Property Maintenance Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that maintenance needs are addressed promptly and efficiently, both during and after regular business hours. This is a hands-on role that requires a broad skill set and the ability to handle routine and emergency maintenance tasks with expertise and professionalism.

**Responsibilities Include:**
- Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
- Conducting routine preventative maintenance to keep properties in optimal condition.
- Assisting with the removal of bulk trash and appliances.
- Performing minor drywall repairs and painting as needed.
- Installing and maintaining keyless locks for added security.
- Conducting grounds work and landscaping to enhance property aesthetics.

**Qualifications We're Looking For:**
- Minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance (Preferred).
- Strong knowledge of maintenance repair across various areas.
- Ability to communicate effectively and pay attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy with experience using apps for day-to-day operations.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle (truck is a plus).
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders safely, and check roofs/clean gutters.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references.
