Role Overview
SkyMirr is a high-tech startup company that has developed patent-pending antenna/IoT technology
which allows for better connectivity in consumer and wireless communication devices. We are
seeking a Salesperson based in North America who is independent and can take charge in achieving
design wins in multiple different wireless markets, such as consumer devices, telecom, broadband
internet, embedded medical devices, transportation logistics, and many more.
Background/Experience
- At least 5 years of strong sales experience in RF/Antennas, IOT, and/or Wireless Communications industries.
- Distributor channel knowledge/experiences can be big plus.
- Looking for a natural salesperson with a personable, yet aggressive nature who can easily approach new people and freely engage in technical discussions.
- Able to penetrate new accounts and quickly establish personal relationships with new project managers and/or product design engineers.
- Strong understanding of the process to achieve a “design win” into a product sales.
- Skilled at custom proposal development, negotiating, convincing, closing, and expectation management.
- Has outstanding negotiation capabilities, including for both OEM and direct sales.
Requirements for the role
- Aggressively find and develop new customers for the company’s initial products and for new custom antenna design services.
- Establish personal relationships with wireless project managers and/or product design engineers to communicate the benefits of SkyMirr technology.
- Provide feedback to R&D on what customers are looking for or need in current trends.
- Sign up for accurate quarterly and yearly sales forecasts, including sales funnel and pipeline.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s Degree (preference for engineering, business, or finance)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
