Concrete Laborer Job Summary:

The Concrete Laborer will be responsible for forming, pouring, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete. The individual must be able to demonstrate the ability to be a team player and must be willing to show respect for all coworkers and customers.

Concrete Laborer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to plan and execute your work to provide the highest efficiency possible. Insuring you have the proper tools and materials to perform the task or project.
  • Must keep building and/or assigned areas of jobsite clean and organized as necessary to maintain a safe and productive working environment 
  • Assist in excavation of proposed areas to be poured
  • Assist in building forms for the proposed pour
  • Grade stone for proposed pour if required
  • Pour, level, and finish freshly poured concrete as the specification of the job or construction site requires
  • Apply stains, sealants, and waterproofing materials to finish concrete
  • Complete daily general site clean-up, Load and unload construction material 
  • Other duties as assigned


Physical Requirements:

  • Work environment conditions consist of working in all weather where the conditions could be dirty or dusty.
  • The ability to frequently kneel, bend, and lift 20 to 100lbs or more
  • Ability to work extended hours during construction season (OT is paid at time and a half)


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience preferred but willing to train the right individual
  • Must pass Drug Screen & DOT physical
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
