Who You Are:

The Industrial Mechanic Technician must have the ability to read blueprints and be able to follow design specifications. A working knowledge of electrical wiring and instrumentation and controls is a plus.

A Day in the Life:

· Ability to use an impact wrench and all hand tools.

· Ability to read blueprint drawings and mechanically assemble and disassemble piping and valves.

· Mechanically install instrumentation in water treatment piping. Examples: Pressure Indicating Transmitters, Pressure Gauges.

· Understanding of valves, flanges, and gaskets.

· Mechanically able to glue PVC Piping together using a PVC Piping drawing.

· HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or Auto Mechanic experience helpful.

· Forklift and Scissor lift experience required.

· Ability to use an overhead crane.

· Ability to follow blueprint drawings and bend stainless steel tubing a plus.

· The Industrial/Mechanic Technician must be able to work in confined spaces.

· Hydrostatic testing experience is a plus.

· Electrical wiring experience is a plus.

What Will Set You Up for Success:

· Candidates that have HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or Auto Mechanic experience a plus.

· Ability to be flexible and responsive to changing business needs.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· All candidates must be able to pass drug test, pre-employment physical, and possible background investigation. A high level of safe working practices is vital.

· Industrial Mechanic Technician must have valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt, hourly. Salary range: $20.00/hour - $24.00/hour based on experience, skill level, and certifications.
