We are currently searching for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Levine Hearing, in Charlotte, NC.

Job Summary

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care, aligning with our core values. The ideal candidate will bring previous administrative experience to provide a variety of administrative and general medical secretarial support to the Levine Hearing team.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Communication: Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers. This involves answering questions, providing information about services, scheduling appointments, and addressing concerns.

  • Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, for both new and follow up patients. Ensuring that appointments are scheduled efficiently and that patients are informed of any necessary preparations.

  • Insurance Verification: Verify patients' insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and coverage limitations.

  • Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, treatment plans, and insurance information. Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality laws and regulations.

  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, safety, and satisfaction. Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for optimizing processes.

  • Continuing Education: Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices. Attend training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
