Job DescriptionJob Description

The ServiceNow developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing applications within the ServiceNow platform to meet the needs of our customers. This is a remote position. US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, modify, and maintain ServiceNow applications and solutions based on business requirements. This involves configuring workflows, forms, fields, scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, and other components within the ServiceNow platform
  • Customize and extend ServiceNow functionalities using scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Develop integrations with other systems and applications using web services, APIs, and other methods
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical solutions within ServiceNow. Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes
  • Test developed solutions to ensure they meet quality standards, are efficient, and fulfill business requirements
  • Deploy changes and updates to ServiceNow instances following best practices for change management and version control
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and processes related to ServiceNow development
  • Provide transitional and design review support to end-users as needed
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for ServiceNow applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements and optimizations to improve performance and user experience

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform / modules: IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM)
  • Preferred certifications include: System Administrator, Application Developer, Implementation Methodology Fundamentals, Platform Implementation
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience in developing and customizing applications within the ServiceNow platform
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow development best practices and methodologies
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, propose effective solutions, and implement them within ServiceNow
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and convey technical information effectively
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in an agile environment

Requirements:

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or similar role
  • ServiceNow certifications are preferred but not required
