Job DescriptionJob Description

Performs Customer Service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance and direction to customers when dropping off their boat. Must be able to drive a tractor, assist in launching and picking up boats, stocking of parts in their correct bins, keeping shop clean and taking out the trash, and Light detailing of sold New/Used boats. Ability to prioritize and multitask ,Positive and professional demeanor Good  verbal communication skills, Cash handling skills, Pay is based on experience. We are a hard working shop with a very high reputation in our area. Schooling is offered to individual if interested.

Position responsibilities:

 

1) Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers

2) Replenish product on shelves as required per Merchandising guidelines

3) Assist with "Seasonal" floor merchandise moves

4) Restock merchandise as required

5) Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies

6 Filling out work order with complete information when bringing in a boat and having customer sign it

7) Light detailing of New and Used sold boats

8) Able to drive and back up a tractor to move boats around lot

9) Follows all Company Policies and Procedures

10) Able to do Inventory twice a year and enter into the computer

11) Will be taught POS to check customers out

12) Summertime is a very busy time, Need to be able to work in a fast past environment

Backing trailers, tractor driving skills, docking, safe boat driving are a must. We are a Mercury Platinum dealership as well as a Suzuki dealer. We offer benefits as well as vacation pay. We are willing to work with applicants that are entry level as well. Please understand pay is based upon overall experience with applicants contribution to our facility.
