As a Creative Director, your primary responsibility would be to maintain a consistent visual and thematic style for various projects and book concepts. You will play a crucial role in planning and developing special edition books and merchandise, overseeing the entire creative process, and providing guidance to the artist team hired for each project.

You will work closely with the Project Director and assistants on our Creative Team to ensure that our customers receive high-quality special edition books and merchandise.

We are seeking a passionate reader who is well-connected in the romance and fantasy book community, with knowledge of highly anticipated releases.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing Books
• Concepts and art direction for Special editions
• Artist sourcing

Skills:

• Avid Reader
• Organized
• Strong Communication
• PowerPoint or Canva for Concept Briefs
• Ability to make creative concepts based on book theming

This position requires someone who has their finger on the pulse of what is trending in the book community, if you are involved and have a blog, Instagram or TikTok account related to reading we would love to know more about that in your resume.
