Now Hiring for a Credit/Collections Specialist Contract to Hire in Laurel, MD. Pay is between $22-24/hour depending on experience, hours are 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday and is fully in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies acceptable credit lines and payment terms to new customers and/or supplier accounts
  • Collection and maintenance of vendor accounts
  • Business to business collections
  • Follow up correspondence, resolution, and escalation of overdue accounts
  • Researching credit history
  • Performs regular review of customer accounts to manage risk
  • Makes recommendations on bad credit line management

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have Business to Business experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Intermediate Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical skills
