We specialize in projects including automated cranes, autonomously guided vehicles (AGVs), and material tracking systems, among other projects such as large-scale motor control systems, primarily for heavy industries such as steel, cement, oil & gas and manufacturing.
We're presently looking to hire an Electrical Technician for our Bridgeville, PA panel shop who can draft and build electrical control panels, do basic programming with drives, and is willing to occasionally travel to service local customers. This work includes laying out panel components, drilling, cutting, and wiring under the supervision of a technical manager according to drawings drafted by engineers and other technicians.
Candidates can be experienced technicians from other panel shops and other fields such as auto repair, recent tech school graduates, last-semester students looking for a paid internship before being taken on full-time following graduation, and technicians looking to advance into an engineering career.
Prior experience is not required, but familiarity with CAD or the capability to quickly learn how to use it is strongly recommended. Applicants should be familiar with the use of basic hand tools and basic power tools. The applicant must work well as a team member and be trusted to work independently.
We're willing to train, though this technician must be both disciplined and willing to learn and work very hard, since our projects are highly dynamic and turn over quickly. Applicants must be willing to take a test to assess technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
Applicants should be willing and able to begin working ASAP.
