Learn how to be an effective teacher with great leadership and a great team. Skyline Gila River is seeking a motivated and dynamic Special Education Teacher. This is a full-time position and salary is based on education and experience.

We are looking for a Certified Special Education Teacher to work primarily with our high school population (may include middle school) at Skyline Gila River in Chandler, AZ. The candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside our strong Special Education professionals and collaborate with general education teachers in order improve student outcomes and develop educators to reach all students. Due to our small school size, the staff has a unique opportunity to build relationships with our students and families that extend many generations, who pride themselves on dedicating their time and energy to grow connections through support and positive interactions. Skyline Gila River serve students mainly through an itinerant model, pushing into the general education setting, in order to build student independence. Collaboration and small group instruction will be imperative to provide the necessary specialized instruction for success for both the students and the staff.


Teacher candidate must be certified by the Arizona Department of Education for Special Education, Cross-Categorical or Mild-Moderate disabilities is preferred. Candidate must also have a Fingerprint Clearance card from the State of Arizona. Salary is dependent upon experience and Skyline offers a comprehensive benefits package.
