Telehandler Operator Responsibilities:

  • Driving the machine;
  • Reporting to the Site Manager;
  • Operating the machine in a safe manner;
  • Ensure health & safety is upheld around the site;
  • Be confident in high lifts and in tight spaces;
  • When there is no equipment work, willing to help out on site;
  • Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manger and Assistant Site Manager;
  • Assisting with general laboring duties on site;
  • Moving materials around the site;
  • Assisting the site manager when not using the machine;
  • Loading and unloading materials;
  • Machine operating.

Telehandler Operator Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage;
  • Be approachable and happy to work as point of contact when working in a stand alone position;
  • Up to 2 years experience required to managing the Telehandler;
  • Full PPE;
  • Construction based work references;
  • Valid Certification preferred;
  • Full PPE (hard-hat, boots, vest, safety glasses, gloves);
  • Proven experience on site;
  • Previous experience managing a Telehandler;
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. through E-verify;
  • Must have reliable form of transportation;
  • Background and Drug screening required;
