A Family Office in Dallas, Texas is hiring Commercial Property Accountant to support the growing company. This role will aid in managing financial activities related to the family's diverse mix of real estate, acquisitions, and development portfolio.

**Responsibilities: **

 

  1. 1. **Financial Reporting**: Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports for commercial properties.
  2. 2. **Lease Administration**: Oversee lease agreements, ensuring accurate rent billing, and lease compliance.
  3. 3. **Property Tax Management**: Manage property tax assessments and payments.
  4. 4. **Expense Management**: Monitor and analyze property expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  5. 5. **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Develop and maintain property budgets and forecasts.
  6. 6. **Financial Analysis**: Analyze property financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  7. 7. **Tenant Relations**: Interact with tenants on financial matters, such as rent payments and billing inquiries.
  8. 8. **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  9. 9. **Collaboration**: Work closely with property managers, owners, and other stakeholders to achieve financial goals.
  10. 10. **Software Proficiency**: Yardi expert.
  11. 11. **Problem Solving**: Address financial issues and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  12. 12. **Audit Support**: Assist with audits and provide necessary financial documentation.
  13. 13. **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  14. 14. **Communication**: Communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders, both internal and external.

**Qualifications: **

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. CPA certification preferred. Not required
  3. 3+ years previous experience in Commercial Property Accounting
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software, Yardi.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
