Johnstone Supply is your one-stop-shop of HVAC Wholesale needs. We offer a variety of options in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration. Opportunity:

  • We are looking to add to our Outside Sales team. We are a young, rapidly growing organization that is looking for an energetic and motivated salesperson to add to our team. We’re in one of the fastest-growing industries in the U.S. and our growth has been no different. We offer a fun, fast-paced, consumer-oriented work environment focusing on relationship building and sales. We’re family-oriented and run our business like a “Mom & Pop shop” in a corporate world. While no two days are the same, day to day this role can expect to interact with customers in-person and on the phone, manage a consistent supply of inventory, prepare orders for delivery, and source appropriate and available products from a wide range of vendors (e.g., Honeywell, Nest, and Goodman)
  • Ideally, this candidate would have some experience and/or training in the HVAC industry, but this is not a necessity. We work in a collaborative team environment, and if you have a willingness to learn, we are willing to teach you
  • We offer competitive benefits and salary including but not limited to, health insurance, HSA, 401K match, and year end performance bonus after 1+ year of employment
  • Starting salary will be based on industry experience

Responsibilities 
  • Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
  • Meet or exceed designated sales targets
  • Create and implement an effective sales strategy
  • Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program
  • Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in outside sales
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive attitude and ability to be persistent
