Job DescriptionJob Description

USM is currently seeking a qualified CADD technician, EIT (AutoCAD, MicroStation) for immediate full-time employment in our Stillwater, Oklahoma office. This position does not include a living allowance/Per Diem or commute mileage.

Essential Duties:

· Prepare drawings using Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems.

· Create drawings for construction projects.

· Draw topographical and relief maps to aid in design.

· Draft technical details.

· Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.

· Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.

· Prepare variations of design.

· Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.

· Write metes and bounds descriptions.

· ODOT experience preferred.

Must be proficient in: MS Office, Open Roads Designer and AutoCAD Civil 3d and ALTA Surveys

Requirements:

One to three years CAD related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must possess 1 year of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3d; MicroStation other surveying and mapping programs are a plus.

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of current auto insurance

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Must submit a portfolio of work experience.
