Day Shift

$18-$21 per hour

Port of Catoosa


Required Experience:

Minimum 4 years on the job experience with tooling design and manufacturing processes or equivalent manufacturing role. Minimum 2 years SolidWorks experience.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalency. Must be able to demonstrate general math skills.

Required Skills, Knowledge or Abilities:

·Solidworks, CATIA, Esprit or other CAD/CAM software.

·Knowledge of manufacturing processes and fixture design.

·Knowledge of 3D Scanning

·Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities concurrently.

·Ability to work with practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.

·Ability to create Standard Operating Procedures and Documentation.

·Ability to communicate well and give direction to others in an orderly and professional fashion.

·Ability to identify critical issues and recommend appropriate solutions in a timely manner.

·Ability to stay organized and to follow data file structure organization and usage.

Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to, creation of 3D models of vacuum form and holding fixture tooling. Create CNC programs using CAM software. Setup and operate CNC Mill and Router on as needed bases. Create 2D prints and 3rd angle projection drawings of parts with working knowledge of drawing standards. Create Standard Operating procedures and documentation to standardize work.Able to move items weighing 50lbs. without assistance on a routine basis.Assist other departments when necessary.Maintain a safe work environment. This position is a safety – sensitive position and is responsible for the operation of a motor vehicle, other vehicle, equipment, machinery or power tools.

CAD/CAM Design Technician I

$18-21/hour.Can model vacuum form and holding fixtures with little oversight or review of design. Can create CNC programs for all milling and router machines. Can operate all milling and router machines. Possesses full understanding of drawings and part prints. Possesses full understanding of drawings and part prints.
