The Cave Clinical Services is seeking a skilled, culturally responsive, and compassionate Registered Associate Mental Health Professional to join the company part-time to provide therapeutic services and possibly co-lead a training or workshop (optional).

This position is for someone proactive, ambitious, and experienced in understanding the differences between private practice and an agency setting. You will be referred clients; however, you must be willing to bring in your own clients through networking, advertising, word of mouth, and getting your name out into the community. Your bio and professional picture will be placed on the website.

You must be willing to work with people from various backgrounds. Please do not apply if you are looking to arrive at the practice and be handed a full caseload (it takes time). I need to supervise your clinical work as you build a proper caseload. Willingness to do outreach work and networking is strongly recommended. Other forms of advertisement, such as psychologytoday will be paid by the company.

You will have a diverse caseload of clients, including those with insurance and those who pay in cash. This includes individuals, couples, and teens. If you have a specific population you're interested in working with, we can discuss it further during the interview.

You must have your associate number before applying; I cannot hire you without it. Build your private practice while earning hours and receiving weekly supervision. You will see individuals, couples, a group, and/or families so you can collect all hours necessary to meet BBS requirements.

This position is for Hybrid work. Although, you can have more telehealth appointments than in-person.

Monday to Sunday: Online

Friday through Sunday: In person/In Office

Requirements

  • At least one year of post-graduate experience providing therapy services to adults, children, and/or teens
  • Commitment to providing quality, evidence-based, and culturally informed care
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent phone communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Dedication to creating a foundation for lasting client relationships
  • Demonstrates familiarity or awareness with new research and developments in the field
  • Goes "above and beyond" for their clients and the agency’s goal
  • High EQ (emotional Intelligence)
  • Must own a laptop computer with version 2010 or newer Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have excellent writing skills
  • Must have a private and confidential space where telehealth sessions can be conducted
  • Ability to review research and convey it

Responsibilities

  • Be clear, concise, and timely with keeping updated progress notes, CPS forms (if needed), and completing intake evaluations.
  • You will receive a starting caseload of adult, child, couple, family, or adolescent clients, depending on your availability and desired hours.
  • You will be referred clients; however, you are encouraged to bring in your own clients through networking, advertising, word of mouth, and getting your name out into the community.
  • Flexibility with Summer and School-Year scheduling. Some clients prefer the morning during summer and late afternoon/evening during the school year.
  • Therapists have the option to schedule appointments on a weekend or after 6pm if desired.

Compensation

  • Pre-licensed therapists will be compensated at a starting rate of $27.50 per session which includes individual, couples, or family. Compensation may increase up to $37.50 per session depending on duration of employment, training experience, clinical skill, and supervision needs.
  • You will be paid through the payroll system every two weeks. Supervision is based on you and your Supervisor’s schedule.
