Job Overview: Gentry Spirits, a locally renowned spirit brand, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Part-Time Salesperson to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct in-person liquor tastings at various retail locations, events, and promotions to introduce our products to consumers and drive sales. As the face of Gentry Spirits, you will engage with customers, provide product knowledge, and create a memorable tasting experience that encourages brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person liquor tastings at retail locations, events, and other promotional venues.
  • Educate customers on Gentry Spirits’ product offerings, including flavor profiles, production processes, and unique selling points.
  • Encourage product sales by effectively communicating the quality and value of our spirits.
  • Set up and maintain tasting displays, ensuring an inviting and professional presentation.
  • Track and report customer feedback, sales metrics, and inventory levels after each tasting event.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with store staff and event organizers.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging market opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role, preferably within the spirits or beverage industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence customers.
  • A passion for spirits, with knowledge of liquor products and an interest in learning more about Gentry Spirits.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and able to work independently.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Flexible schedule, with availability on evenings and weekends as required.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to various tasting locations.
