Summary

Design and establish cost for Douglas conveyor components and engineered solutions. Assist customers and sales team with product selection, application assistance and problem resolution. Develop new and innovative products and help ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Extensive use of computers and computer programs including Solidworks, Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases).
  • Establish a good communications and working rapport with customer service, regional managers and manufacturing personnel.
  • Understand Douglas products and the mechanical applications in which they are used.
  • Apply verbal and written communication skills to team members and customers.
  • Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
  • Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player.
  • Continually participate in additional training related to the Job.
  • Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
  • Periodic domestic or international travel may be required and on-site customer visits may be required.
  • Regular, consistent attendance, available to deal with daily issues during normal business hours, odd or extra hours will be required as needed.
