We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer with manufacturing experience who enjoys working with a team and building great products.

Summary/Objective
The mechanical engineer designs new weighing and medical equipment, customizes existing products, interacts with customers and suppliers, and facilitates the manufacturing of our products.

Essential Functions

1. Performs engineering assignments to design new or modify existing products to specification.
2. Designs parts and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software packages.
3. Analyses designs with SolidWorks Simulation and SolidWorks Plastic
4. Designs manufacturable products within the companys current or planned manufacturing methods.
5. Leads and helps in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of new products and prototypes.
6. Ensures that new products comply with all applicable rules and regulations.
7. Coordinates and works with electronics engineering, manufacturing engineering and drafters.
8. Sources and selects components needed for products.
9. Aids in the implementation of new products or reinvented products in our manufacturing process.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
3D Modeling experience
2D CAD drafting experience

Preferred Education and Experience
Masters degree in mechanical engineering
Solid Works and AutoCAD experience
Experience in programming DriveWorks
Experience in running SolidWorks Simulation
Experience in running SolidWorks Plastics

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Experience in plastic parts and mold designs
Experience in sheet metal design
Experience in Microsoft Excel programming
