Job DescriptionJob Description

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Senior Buyer for its client in the Cincinnati, OH area. This individual would be responsible for procurement and inventory management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Purchase Hispanic, Central, and South American food items.

·        Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely deliveries.

·        Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.

·        Maintain FIFO and Rotation compliance.

·        Collaborate with departments on product offerings and promotions.

·        Train and supervise buying staff.

·        Participate in meetings and trade shows.

·        Support store transfers and inter-location communication.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        5+ years of retail grocery buying experience required.

·        Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

·        Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

·        Strong negotiation and organizational skills

·        Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

·        Proficient with Google Docs, Spreadsheets, and inventory management software

·        Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
