Cellofoam is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for our IT Department. This rewarding position demands a talented and inquisitive IT Professional that truly wishes to help create a more efficient company, as well as continue their growth within the organization. The Senior Systems Administrator works directly with the Business Technology Manager in such fields as Electronic Data Processing, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, and Programming.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Meeting with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
  • Providing users with technical support for computer problems.
  • Developing computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.
  • Staying abreast of advances in technology.
  • Acting as escalation for our helpdesk system.
  • Creating and maintaining access for users on both domain and Microsoft 365.
  • Consulting with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
  • Evaluating the organization's technology use and needs and recommending improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
  • Evaluating data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory and record of all hardware, and software purchased.
  • Participating in afterhours maintenance and upgrades for IT systems.
  • Acting as project lead for Business Technology projects as needed.
  • Purchasing necessary equipment.
  • Managing backup, security, and user help systems.
  • Adhering to Cellofoam North America Inc. company focus areas -- Safety, Financial, Customer and People.
  • Keeps Manager informed at all times of potential issues and concerns.

Well Qualified Applicants Will Have Experience With:

  • Microsoft Server Administration (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy)
  • Windows 10
  • Virtual Server Administration
  • Firewall and switch configuration (Fortinet FortiGate preferred)
  • Microsoft SQL Database Administration
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • General Familiarity with ERP Systems
  • Microsoft 365 Administration (SharePoint Online / OneDrive / Teams

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or relevant experience/certifications
  • Four or more years of relevant experience
  • Automation in a manufacturing environment a plus
