Busy CPA Firm looking for an experienced full-charge bookkeeper to handle all aspects of client write-up, payroll,  and client management. Casual and supportive work environment with opportunities for learning and advancement.

Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:

·         Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure compliance.

·         Develop system to track client work and define bookkeeping policies and procedures.

·         Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

·         Balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

·         Maintain general ledger accuracy.

·         Maintain historical records.

·         Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

·         Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements; enforce adherence to requirements; file reports; advise management on needed actions.

·         Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Bookkeeper Qualifications / Skills:

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

·         Previous bookkeeping experience required for a CPA Firm

·         Experience working with multiple clients in multiple industries and professions

We will start you off at a minimum of 5% to a max of 15% increase over your current salary and will provide regular reviews with bonuses and raises when deserved. There is an auto increase annual of 3%. We can structure the Compensation package to suit your needs.
This means we can tailor a flexible pay system that suits your needs including insurance.

Primarily, we want HAPPY FOLKS who enjoy the workplace and want to have some fun as well.
We believe that Accountants do not need to work like chickens with their heads cutoff for half the year. Our practice is always busy.
