We are seeking an Account Manager to join our team. In this role you will work closely with our sales and service team to support various initiatives and gain practical knowledge in sales techniques and strategies.

Responsibilities:


  • Servicing and Customer Service: Work closely with our current clients via telephone, email, and in-person to be the subject matter expert on their policies, conduct requested changes, and be proactive with upcoming account changes.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers within the target market segments. Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research to generate leads.
  • Outbound Calling: Initiate contact with prospective clients through outbound calls to present insurance products and services. Effectively communicate products, benefits, and value propositions to potential customers.
  • Follow-Up and Relationship Management: Follow up with leads and inquiries generated through marketing efforts or previous interactions. Nurture relationships with prospects by providing additional information, addressing concerns, and maintaining regular communication.
  • Needs Assessment and Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the insurance needs and objectives of potential clients. Offer tailored insurance solutions and recommendations based on individual customer requirements.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize a pipeline of prospects and leads to ensure timely follow-up and conversion. Utilize CRM software to track interactions, update lead status, and forecast sales opportunities accurately.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters, customer service representatives, and other sales professionals, to facilitate the sales process and provide excellent customer service.
  • Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape within the insurance sector. Continuously improve selling skills and knowledge through training, workshops, and self-study.
Qualifications:


  • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales roles, preferably within the insurance industry. Experience in outbound calling, prospecting, and lead generation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with prospects and conveying complex insurance concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a genuine interest in understanding customer needs and providing personalized solutions. Ability to build rapport, establish trust, and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Result-Driven: Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market dynamics, customer preferences, and business requirements. Flexible approach to work and willingness to embrace new strategies and technologies to improve sales effectiveness.
