Lead Technician/ Low Voltage Supervisor

About the Role

We are currently hiring data lead/ supervisor low voltage technician to focus on infrastructure installations within Data Center environment.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Team leadership experience
  • Strong background in leading teams in commercial style projects
  • Oversee assigned projects and performance of technicians assigned
  • Ideally someone with RCDD certification
  • This person will also help us bid jobs, so estimation experience and experience with methodologies like using a NECA matrix is much preferred
  • Rack and stack network equipment
  • Set, gang, seismically brace/bolt cabinet
  • Install overhead ladder rack, fiber tray/trough/spillway
  • Install hot/cold aisle containment systems
  • Run copper & fiber
  • Terminate copper
  • Label, dress, and pull cables
  • Familiarity with Fluke/Verse test equipment
  • Installation of cabling and rack infrastructure builds and assignments
  • Strong background performing large scale data center projects.
  • Responsible for performing work associated to project.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and be directed by leadership onsite
  • Completes project delivery by due date specified
  • Supports both new deployment and live site/production requests
  • Strong theoretical and practical skills in cabling disciplines
  • Lead installs to completion
  • Validates material required to complete the build project
  • Coordinate and plan with teams, request material for installs supported by logistics

Required Qualifications

  • Willing to submit to a background check
  • Willing to travel to other states
  • RCDD certification is ideal
