Position Overview:
As a Structural Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of our diverse range of projects. From initial concept to final installation, you'll oversee every aspect of structural design and construction, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, fabricators, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of structural projects, including but not limited to pylons, monuments, wall signs, blade signs, channel letters, and more.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery within established parameters.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify potential risks, and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless communication and project success.
  • Uphold YJ Sign Inc.'s commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proven experience (X years) in project management within the construction or architectural industry, with a focus on structural projects.
  • Knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and construction techniques.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Professional licensure or certifications (PMP, PE, etc.) preferred.

Along with preparing engineering documents, we also offer our Structural Observation, Structural Inspection/Survey, and Concrete Mix Design Review services.

Our team has a combined 45+ years of structural engineering experience with 20 years dedicated to perfecting sign engineering.

We have engineered signage throughout the world and have a thorough understanding of differing jurisdictional codes, as well as the current 2021 IBC and 2022 CBC, 2020 LABC, and ASCE 07-16.

YJ Inc. is a Sign Engineering firm offering exceptionally fast (3-5 Day) turn around on engineering documents for permitting purposes, at a competitive fixed per project price, with no add-ons or charges for revisions prior to wet stamped drawings submitted to clients.
