standards. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules for caregivers and clients, ensuring

adequate coverage, and addressing any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise. This role requires

excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Schedule Coordination: Efficiently schedule caregivers to provide home care services to clients

based on their needs and preferences. Coordinate schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all

clients while optimizing caregiver availability.

2. Client Communication: Communicate regularly with clients to understand their scheduling

preferences, update them on caregiver assignments and address any concerns or changes to

their schedule.

3. Caregiver Assignment: Match caregivers with clients based on their skills, experience, and

compatibility with client needs and preferences. Ensure that caregivers are properly briefed on

client requirements and expectations. Train staff as needed for the development of personal care skills.

4. Scheduling Software Management: Utilize scheduling software (Smartcare) to manage caregiver

schedules and client information and track necessary notes on clients and caregivers. Ensure

that Smartcare software is updated accurately and promptly.

5. Problem Resolution: Address scheduling conflicts, last-minute cancellations, and other issues

that may arise. Work closely with caregivers and clients to find suitable solutions and ensure

continuity of care. Be prepared to use office staff and yourself as the scheduler to fill

shifts as a last alternative.

6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client schedules, caregiver

assignments, and any scheduling-related communications or incidents. Generate reports as

needed to track scheduling metrics and performance to maintain goals established by leadership

each month.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the home care team, including

caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless coordination of care and

adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

8. Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of care provided to clients and address any concerns or

feedback about scheduling or caregiver performance. Implement improvements to scheduling

processes as needed to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

9. New Talent: Recruit new talent from the designated platform, schedule interviews, and complete

the interview process with candidates. Adhere to hiring guidelines established by leadership.

10. Approval of weekly time in preparation for the billing and payroll department. Also, the ability

to analyze any patterns in schedule changes.

Qualifications:

• 2 years or more of home health scheduling

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

• Proficiency in using scheduling software and other office applications.

• Knowledge of home care services and the needs of elderly or disabled clients.

• Valid CNA License with two years or more of experience

Additional Requirements:

·       Must be able to be flexible in work schedule, overtime, and weekends (8 am-5 pm)·       Must have own vehicle working (must provide vehicle registration)·       Resume must include two or more years of experience in home care scheduling and 3 professional references familiar with your scheduling experience.·       Be prepared for a 2-step process, Virtual Interview and F2F Interview (no rescheduling scheduled interviews)

90 Day Probation (Medical Benefits, AFLAC, one week of paid vacation after a one year of service, RetirepathVA, and weekly pay)

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 an hour
