Job DescriptionJob Description

Position Summary: The Laborer is an essential member of the landscaping crew, responsible for executing various tasks assigned by the Crew Leader or Crew Second. This role focuses on following company policies, completing work efficiently, and contributing to the overall success of enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Execution: Perform a variety of landscaping tasks as directed by the Crew Leader or Crew Second, including planting, mulching, mowing, trimming, and other enhancement activities.
  • Policy Adherence: Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in all activities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to the company’s quality standards and specifications.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Usage: Use and maintain landscaping tools and equipment responsibly and report any issues or malfunctions to the Crew Second or Crew Leader.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other crew members, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
  • Efficiency: Complete assigned tasks efficiently, meeting project deadlines and performance expectations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in landscape management or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping practices, materials, and equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
