Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Superintendent to manage electrical construction and installation projects during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the aviation sector or comparable environments such as healthcare or mission-critical facilities. This role requires a professional who can lead night operations, ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, maintained, and tested efficiently while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

This is a permanent night shift position, providing an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the electrical construction, installation, and maintenance activities during night shifts for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
  • Lead and supervise on-site electrical teams, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity during off-hours.
  • Collaborate closely with the daytime project management teams and contractors to ensure smooth project handovers and seamless coordination.
  • Ensure that all electrical systems are installed and tested to meet project deadlines without compromising quality or safety standards.
  • Perform regular site inspections, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues related to electrical systems, equipment, or installations.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes, safety regulations, and the client’s specific requirements.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including work progress, equipment used, and any issues encountered during the night shifts.
  • Provide technical expertise and hands-on leadership to electrical teams on-site, focusing on achieving high-quality results in aviation, healthcare, or mission-critical facilities.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of electrical tasks.
  • Communicate regularly with the client (confidential) to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role as an Electrical Superintendent, with specific experience in aviation, healthcare, or mission-critical environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical installations, systems, and local/national electrical codes, especially in complex or high-risk environments.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams during night shifts, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with both internal teams and external contractors.
  • Ability to interpret and execute detailed blueprints and technical documents.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Willingness to work permanent night shifts in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and proficiency in technical software relevant to the construction industry is preferred.
