Job DescriptionJob Description

The Project Manager Intern will help with delivering every project on time within budget and scope. This role is ideal for individuals currently enrolled in College and are able to also work or just graduated from College looking to start their career job.

Overall Roles and Responsibilities:

· Estimate budgets for projects.

· Schedule work utilizing Primavera P6 software.

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

· Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.

· Ensure resource availability and allocation.

· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.

· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

· Report and escalate to management as needed.

· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Preferred Skills: Management, Scheduling Utilizing Primavera P6, Budgeting, Analysis, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Critical Thinking, Time and Priority Management, Attention to Detail, Multi-tasking, Generational Differences in the Workplace and Problem Solving.

Key Must Have’s:

Currently at a university studying construction management, program management or a construction type program

Or a recent graduate looking to start their career in construction program management and have a related 4-year degree.

Primavera P6 scheduling software a plus.

Must have MS Suite skill set including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Experience or schooling in MS Projects.

Some form of good work ethic – IE they have held a job while in school or over the summer – can have worked ANYWHERE.

Dependable, Strong time management skill set

Professional communication skill set so that they can work with customers effectively.

Driven, Self-motivated, Must have reliable transportation.
