Project Manager
Are you a wildly organized professional... with Project Management experience in any industry? Perhaps you are bored only scrolling through automotive or construction "Corporate America" job postings for a Project Manager. Our VERY busy sign and graphics company has an immediate opening for one of our key positions. This full time Project Manager position is an opportunity for the right person to step into a multi-million dollar producing, award-winning, well-oiled machine of a team. Are you energetic, organized, passionate AND eager to build your future?
Key Responsibilities of this position:
- Analytical Skills: We need ROCKSTARS. This means we only add new team members that can effectively analyze and make strong, snap decisions on their projects.
- Extreme Time Management: You will be working with national clients, fellow teammates and our Executive Team, often spinning multiple plates at once.
- Extraordinary Communication skills: If you are the type of person who will respond to a client from Los Angeles who is texting you at 8pm, we have a spot for you. We are known around the country for our dedication to customer communication.
- Math and Budgeting: Our Project Managers are expected to keep and maintain a budget for every project. You will need to be confident in your math skills and your abilities to use Microsoft Excel.
- Phone call and customer organization a MUST (This is serious... we will need to see years of experience here)
- While it is not required for the role, many opportunities may arise for travel to visit clients and project sites. (Class E license required)
- We are only hiring highly capable computer experienced people (must be pleasant yet effective on the phone though)
- Prepare to be asked in the interview about how you will help your coworkers better organize their day.
- We have plenty of paperwork, but our entire shop is run digitally... are you organized AND very efficient with computers?
- Random karaoke singing in the middle of the day.
- You will have an office staff behind you every day. Fully trained and capable admins, designers and production team to give you confidence in what we sell to our clients.
- Self-proclaimed quick learner. You do not need an engineering degree to understand our product line, and we expect you to become an expert.
- Management of shipping your products to out of state clients.
- Energy a MUST We are not looking for quiet reserved telemarketers You will not be hidden in a closed office We will be basing our hiring choice on experience, confidence, and ENERGY
- Report daily to the office. This is not a remote position
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator is mainly used along with Flexi)
- High-capacity artist - "express" turnaround time
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & adaptable to change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in construction or engineering background is a plus but not required
Who are you?
You are the type of person who brings added value to any circumstance, who cherishes being a little different while fitting in with a crowd. You enjoy being overly organized, and probably have two dozen filters/folders in your inbox. You are like a cup of coffee, you bring your own personal spark when you get into work in the morning (and are never late). You have at least 3 years experience working in a Project Management capacity.
