Full Charge Bookkeeper

 

Saleen Automotive is an OE Manufacturer and industry leader in High-Performance and Racing Automotive Manufacturing.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper

As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will support the accounts payable side of the company’s finances and will be responsible for ensuring the company’s bills are paid on time and keeping accurate records of all transactions. Must have previous experience with Payroll / AP and QuickBooks.

At a high-level, you will:

· Perform various accounting tasks, including but not limited to account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.

· Analyze invoices/expense reports.

· Maintain accounting General Ledger by verifying and posting account transactions.

· Reimburse employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests, preparing checks.

· Process payroll and ensure accurate payroll management.

· Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or errors.

· Assist with year-end audits; maintain tracking of invoices received in AP inbox to ensure entry and paid invoices.

· Work closely with Purchasing & Inside Sales Team to resolve variances.

· Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.

· File and perform other job task or projects as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

· Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.

· Completion of Intermediate Accounting.

· Previous experience in accounting or finance role required.

· Must have Payroll / Accounts Payable experience.

· Proficiency in QuickBooks and or JobBoss.

· Solid understanding of accounting practices and procedures.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Microsoft Office Windows/ PC proficient (Excel).

· Positive and professional attitude.
