Next Level Technician is seeking Audio Visual Technicians in the Winston- Salem, NC area. Candidates that are highly motivated and ready to work in a hands-on environment are encouraged to explore this opportunity

Our technicians work primarily on commercial and industrial jobsites. From determining the AV needs and vision of our clients to properly installing all necessary devices, our teams are prepared to bring events and presentations to life quickly and correctly. Prior experience in the audio-visual field is preferred.

Next Level Technician offers weekly pay and the opportunity for a signing bonus. OSHA, BICSI, and Aerial Lift certifications are preferred but not required. Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, or Lutron systems is a huge plus. Candidates looking to expand on their existing skillsets and eager for longevity in the audio-visual field can find a home here

Audio Visual Technician Responsibilities:

  • Must have 3+ years experience in AV installation - preferably 5+
  • Strong understanding of construction and job sites.
  • Technical knowledge of AV.
  • Accurately complete essential site paperwork and install documentation.
  • Work with hand and power tools.
  • Lift 50 pounds or more (large TVs, panels etc.)
  • Reliable and on-time.
  • Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to customers - often working in occupied facilities.
  • Read, interpret and follow AV schematics and blueprints.
  • Pull and terminate low voltage cabling through conduit and other locations.
  • Safely and securely mount equipment like AV displays, projectors, cameras, speakers, flat panels, motorized screens, sound systems, control systems, and microphones.
  • Build and wire AV equipment racks.
  • Troubleshoot and test equipment.
  • Work with programmers and QC teams to insure project completion.
  • Lead experience is preferred / a plus
  • Keep company van clean and organized - eligible for company vehicle once on FT so must have clean MVR
  • Must have High School Diploma or trade school graduate.  Prefer CTS or CTS-I and OSHA certs
