Job DescriptionJob Description

Pride Health is hiring for a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Denver CO 80205. This is a 2-month assignment with a possibility of extension and conversion into a full time, opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Responsibilities:

  • Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
  • Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
  • Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
  • Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Education/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections
  • California state phlebotomy license required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p.
Pay Range: $20 to $23/hr

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
