We are actively seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant with 5+ years of experience to join our growing practice. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of matters in collaboration with our seasoned Attorneys, licensed to practice in both the States of New Jersey and New York. The successful candidate will be a natural fit with our Team, be able to operate effectively across multiple areas of expertise (Commercial Litigation, Estate Planning, Family Law…), and to meaningfully contribute to our practice’s growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:

You will prepare all documents required to support cases led by our Attorneys, file them with the Courts, assist in organizing files and with the evidence discovery and preservation, maintain client file security, assist in researching Case Laws. You will have to anticipate the needs of the Attorneys by proactively supporting them in all aspects of the cases we deal with, from the initial onboarding to the ongoing matters. You will lead scheduling for the Office. You will have to learn how to use our internal systems and contribute to the impeccable reputation our firm has developed in handling our clients’ matters. You may have to create and update Intake forms using best judgment, in liaison with the specific needs of our Attorneys as we grow, and possibly expand our areas of expertise. You should be committed to embracing our culture of delivering flawless service to our clients.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years of successful Paralegal/Legal Assistant experience in at least one of our Practice Areas,
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines,
  • Excellent time management and organization,
  • Superior reading comprehension and written communication ability,
  • Extremely detail oriented,
  • Tech Savvy,
  • A strong desire to excel at a growing, dynamic law firm,
  • A four-year degree and a good command of Spanish would be a big plus.
