Smaller manufacturing facility near Ripon, WI seeks an experienced HR Manager. This Human Resources Manager position is responsible for all aspects of Employee relations by leading talent management and acquisition, employee development, developing or resolving policy or procedural problems and inquiries for an employee-owned, high performing culture.

Things you will be responsible for:

· Talent Management – Lead recruiting and retention efforts for a superior workforce

· Provide advice, assistance, interpretation, implementation, and follow-up on personnel policies, procedures

· Training and Development programs

· Benefits & Compensation Administration

· Regulatory, Legal and Safety Compliance.

  • Maintain company organizational structure, job documentation, job descriptions and job evaluation systems.

· Continuously build and develop Human Resources seeking out and implementing Best Practices.

· Identify and monitor the organization’s culture to support the attainment of the company goals and promotes employee satisfaction.

· Strategic Leadership partner

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources (preferred); OR

Business Administration or Organizational Development with additional training in Communications or Human Resources;

5+ years experience in Human Resources function; preferably in a manufacturing environment

Payroll and Benefits Administration experience desired

PHR or SHRM-CP certification desired

  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel spreadsheets, and the Internet
  • Ability to develop HR-related budgets and KPI’s

· Exhibit and practice a high degree of confidentiality.

  • Display Knowledge and understanding of and implement “Best Practices”
  • Communicate and interact effectively, both verbal and written, with associates of all levels of operations in a patient, pleasant and cooperative manner
  • Answer questions directly and honestly
  • Participate in and facilitate group meetings
  • Ability to accept changes in routine.
  • Follow direction in practices and procedures; yet diplomatically challenge ideas
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
