Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation law, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to our attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and managing workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information and documentation.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, medical appointments, and court appearances.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel to obtain necessary information and updates.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and records.
  • Assist in trial preparation and attend hearings as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by attorney and/or office managers to support the successful resolution of cases.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal in workers' compensation law.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Responsible and dedication to your work production
  • Knowledge in EAMS.
  • Team player and ability to work independently as well.
  • Spanish speaker
