Abatix is looking for a new warehouse driver The warehouse driver is responsible for accuracy, timeliness, and safe transportation of all local deliveries and pick-ups. We're looking for a team member who's attitude and professionalism will guarantee a positive customer experience. The warehouse driver will also serve as backup for other warehouse duties. 

Pay rate: $20 - $21/hour ; Day Shift

Job Description:

  • Make deliveries throughout the LA area
  • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle equipment and supplies, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition
  • Report any mechanical problem encountered with a vehicle
  • Load and unload vehicle
  • Receive and pick orders for customers
  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift
  • Count stock items and record data into computer system
  • Other duties as necessary

Job Requirements:

  • A customer service mindset You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs
  • Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems
  • A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
  • Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills
  • Ability to complete certifications for forklifts
  • A valid drivers license
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may require
  • Experience with a stand-up forklift is a plus
