Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking to hire a HVAC or building controls Project Executive (Sales) to join our team You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team to drive company revenue for our building automation business. We are looking for an individual with a solid technical background in commercial HVAC and extensive sales experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, expand, and maintain relationships with Building Owners, Facility Managers, Property Managers, and your internal AES, Inc. team executing opportunities and solutions.
  • Develop the trust of existing and potential customers. Provide technical advice and layout projects to meet customer challenges and budgets for their building needs.
  • Target owners and end-users outside the current AES, Inc. customer base.
  • Focus on maintaining, developing, and converting existing/new accounts to Technical Service Agreement accounts
  • Prospect and qualify for new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and work on a sales plan to hit annual goals
  • Create and deliver sales presentations for project interviews, new technology releases, etc.
  • Maintain involvement in projects after closing the sale, including kick-offs with operations and follow-up with the client.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related studies; or equivalent work experience
  • Commercial HVAC and building controls experience preferred
  • Three years of related experience in sales, construction, or technology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems, including the MS Office suite of products
  • Passion for continuously developing and improving selling skill
  • Self-motivated
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Ability to build rapport with clients

Essential Functions:

  • Be able to lift and carry drawings, personal computers, materials, etc.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record, which, per AES vehicle policy, allows the individual to drive a company vehicle.
