Location: Lake Zurich, IL

Shift: 1st Shift

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join a manufacturer near Lake Zurich IL. This individual will be working in a Warehouse/Production environment.

Responsibilties:

  • Create purchase orders for equipment and services.
  • Track shipments and equipment purchased from suppliers.
  • Arrange shipment, organize, and track shipments of all components, finished equipment, and parts.
  • Verify paperwork against accounting records.
  • Pull special attention orders and follow up on same.
  • Receive and open all purchased items and customer returns.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse area, service parts and items; responsible for building and vehicle maintenance.
  • Inventory control - cycle counts, inventory stock levels, and item allocation to jobs.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork and electronic entry of documentation, including delivery reports to vendors.
  • Contributes positively to company and department goals.
  • Participate in activities to increase personal skill level, overall departmental processes and product quality.
  • Resolve day-to-day issues by working and communicating effectively with others


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory, and warehouse
  • High School Degree or higher
  • Organized, with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as needed
  • Experience utilizing an MRP/ERP system
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of employees within the organization
  • Ability to operate fork truck, pallet jack, dock equipment.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand and or walk 100% of the workday.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, or crawl 50% of the workday.
    • Ability to exert physical force to push, pull, lift or carry 50 pounds frequently without assistance.
