Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Level Manager (VP Level) for our MAC team. This role can be based in either Frisco, TX, or Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will possess extensive software development management experience and a deep understanding of MAC protocols, software and hardware datapaths, and embedded real-time programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the MAC team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of MAC protocols (11ac/11ax/11be) with a strong focus on WiFi technologies.
  • Ensure the effective integration and performance of software and hardware datapaths.
  • Provide deep expertise in hardware register programming and embedded, real-time, C programming.
  • Drive the development of embedded software on multi-core, multi-chipset platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in MAC protocols and embedded systems.
  • Foster a strong sense of team and ensure effective people management and project oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior management role within software development, preferably at the VP level.
  • Deep understanding of MAC protocols, specifically 11ac, 11ax, and 11be, with a preference for WiFi expertise.
  • Extensive knowledge of software and hardware datapaths.
  • Expertise in hardware register programming.
  • Proficiency in bare-metal, embedded, real-time, C programming.
  • Strong background in developing embedded software on multi-core, multi-chipset platforms.
  • Familiarity with the Linux kernel is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong project management and people management experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
