Job DescriptionJob Description

Forklift Operator – Large logistics company in Vernon, CA seeks experienced Forklift Operators to operate forklifts and overhead gantry cranes to move inventory throughout the facility. You will also assist with various warehouse tasks such as picking, packing and staging, as needed.

 

As a Forklift Operator you will work Monday – Friday and earn $20 an hour, plus overtime. At this facility you will have access to free onsite parking, and an employee lunchroom. Plus, if hired directly by the company, you will be eligible for great company benefit.

 

To qualify for these Forklift Operator positions, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and:

  • Have at least 1 year of forklift operating experience. Prior experience working in transportation, or the metals warehousing industry is preferred.
  • Know how to use an RFID scanner.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Be willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
