Job Title: Lab Operator

Location: La Porte, TX

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Operator to join our team in La Porte, TX. The Lab Operator will be responsible for operating various plastics testing machines, accurately recording test results, and communicating findings. The lab is a 175-square-foot air-conditioned room within the main office warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the following plastics testing machines:
    • Ash Determination Muffle Oven
    • Analytical Balance (Electronic Scale)
    • Densimeter (Density Meter)
    • Plastometer (Measure Melt Flow)
    • Microscope
  • Report test results via Excel spreadsheet and email.
  • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of lab equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Quality Assurance Consultant via WhatsApp for face-time meetings and support.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) proficiency is required.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Dropbox, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo training for lab equipment operation.

Work Hours:

  • Approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
