We provide food services in an array of celebrated New York City cultural institutions including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Wave Hill, and The Apollo Theater. Working on our events team, you can expect a wide range of duties that include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and breaking down the event space
  • Serving large groups of guests
  • Passing hors d'oeuvres
  • Managing a buffet
  • Wine Service and Tending bar
  • Coat check attending

We want you to succeed in your professional growth with us as well as in your life outside the company. You decide the shifts you work, and we provide training to give you opportunities to earn positions with more responsibility and more pay.


Qualifications:

  • Own or be able to purchase required dress code pieces
  • Ability to access scheduling program on either a cell phone or a computer
  • Part-time, flexible schedule
  • Ability to stand 7-10 hours
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds

Not required, but we love to see applicants who have:

  • TIPs or Food Handlers certificates
  • Prior food and wine knowledge
  • A driver’s license and are comfortable driving 15-passenger vans

Candidates must be able to furnish professional references upon request to verify their qualifications and previous work experience.


Schedule: Part-time/seasonal. All work is on call, as needed, based on our busy calendar of events and your availability.


Location: NYC and surrounding area


Base salary: $24/hour - $25/hour Based on experience

Performance-based raise opportunities available to all staff on a quarterly basis


Benefits: Sick time accrual


Must be able to provide valid documentation that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
