Elliott Counseling Group is looking for a Clinical Team Leader to join our growing team Here at Elliott Counseling Group, we are a unique hybrid of private practice and clinic, with the benefits of both. Our clinicians have the flexibility of setting their own schedule and shaping their own case load, combined with extensive support from our administrative team and comfortable office. We have motivated clients, capable mentors, and support staff that handles credentialing, intake requests, marketing, billing, reception, and more

Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and a team player with an interest in pursuing a leadership career within our company. The Clinical Team Leader will need to comfortably balance multiple duties, including providing clinical supervision to therapists, supporting and coordinating with the Clinical Supervisor, and taking on direct clinical work with clients. This is a leadership position that requires reliability, flexibility, and a passion for your work.


Responsibilities

Direct Clinical Work

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate, and ethical behavioral health therapy to clients
  • Establish long-term and trusting relationships with clients
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Record and maintain progress notes for all therapy sessions
  • Create progress summary reports or letters as requested
  • Maintain all required licenses

Clinical Supervision

  • Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in both group and individual clinical supervision sessions
  • Provide supervision, consultation, and advisement to therapists and interns
  • Provide crisis support to therapists during business hours, including some evenings and some Saturdays

Project Coordination & Team Direction

  • Provide mentorship and contribute to support discussions with therapists
  • Provide training on software and policies to new employees and interns
  • Assist in the creation of training and support materials, as well as policies and procedures
  • Assist in the creation of weekly content for the company Staff Update
  • Assist in the expansion and development of the ECG Internship program
  • Research training and continuing education opportunities for the agency
  • Ensure that therapist team concerns and issues are addressed promptly and efficiently
  • Communicate team feedback to the Clinical Supervisor and the Leadership Team
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of additional counseling professionals
  • Contribute to ECG marketing efforts, including appearing as part of community events
  • Actively advocate on behalf of Elliott Counseling Group as appropriate


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the principles and techniques of clinical therapy, including a variety of treatment modalities
  • Understanding of current DSM to make appropriate diagnoses
  • Proficiency with calendar systems, EMR programs, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Master’s or doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other related behavioral health degree
  • Licensure in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • 5 or more years of direct clinical experience in the field of mental health
  • 2 or more years of experience in supervisory roles or teams (preferred)

This is a full-time and salaried position, requiring an average of 40 hours per work week.
