Job Description: As a Pharmacy Technician in our Long Term Care Facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation and distribution of medications to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Managing and maintaining medication inventories.
  • Compounding medications and preparing IV medications as needed.
  • Labeling and organizing medication packaging.
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents and healthcare staff.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Shift:

  • Mon - Fri: 4:00pm - 12:00am
  • Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

  • MA tech license
  • PTCB
  • At least 1-year of IV/TPN experience preferred
